Welcome Back!

This is 2020.  Last year ended horribly and changed our lives forever, but we are still 4 Carkeets strong and moving forward as best we know how. This started as a way to chronicle our 6 week sabbatical journey in 2018, but we still have the RV and we are still making memories and we invite you to follow along!

About This Site

We were given a great opportunity to take a 6 week road trip in 2018. We bought an RV, packed our bags and hit the road!  After our trip, we went back to reality (reluctantly), but we still have the RV and we still love adventure, so please follow along as we continue to document our rolling travels!

Comments!

We love comments!  If you are following our journey, please feel free to leave us a comment!  I know it asks for your e-mail address and that can be scary, but that information just comes to us and we won’t sell it!

Adventuring

We’re not in Kansas anymore

By Tonya Carkeet | August 29, 2018August 30, 2018 by Tonya Carkeet

Water Wonderland

By Tonya Carkeet | August 29, 2018August 29, 2018 by Tonya Carkeet

We finally arrived at Niagara Falls State Park – America’s oldest State park.  As we drew closer, we could see mist rising between buildings!  I was so excited, I could barely contain myself!  We initially pulled into the wrong parking lot (that cost $10) and a very nice ranger lady came over with a map…
