The plan for the trip is to drive to Half Moon Bay for the most anticipated wedding of 2018 (Harry and Meghan who?) and then we will be returning home for 12 days and then departing for our 6-week trip. While we are home, school resumes and Trista will attend a week and a half of third grade and Levi is starting Pre-K. The big part of the trip will start on Aug 25 as we head to NW Pennsylvania, where we will meet up with Tonya’s Dad, Step-mom, Gramma, siblings and brand-new nephew that we CAN’T WAIT TO MEET! Then we travel over to Niagara Falls (bucket list item) and then work our way across Vermont (we’re coming for you Ben & Jerry) across New Hampshire, over to Maine and then work our way all the way down the coast to DISNEYWORLD! Then home and back to reality (*sigh* that will be hard). We are expecting to hit 34 states by the end of this year!

This is 2020. Last year ended horribly and changed our lives forever, but we are still 4 Carkeets strong and moving forward as best we know how. This started as a way to chronicle our 6 week sabbatical journey in 2018, but we still have the RV and we are still making memories and we invite you to follow along!

We were given a great opportunity to take a 6 week road trip in 2018. We bought an RV, packed our bags and hit the road! After our trip, we went back to reality (reluctantly), but we still have the RV and we still love adventure, so please follow along as we continue to document our rolling travels!
