Adventuring

Love the smell of Tetons in the morning!

Last night we were finally reunited with Trista (after 3 weeks away) and we have loaded her into our rig for the remaining trip to Montana.

I slept so horribly last night and really I am just uncomfortable without the comforts of my stationary home.  None of us are in the best of moods, but the show must go on!

Luckily, we scoped out our route and discovered that NOT going through Yellowstone was 70 miles farther, but only 8 minutes longer and a lot more interstate.

We were passing by the Tetons before 0800 and there is just something about them that is so magnificent.  I enjoyed the beautiful scenery almost all of today.

We were also excited that this new routing would take us through Idaho!!  When we crossed into Idaho, Trista was engrossed in a movie and Levi hollered, “Trista!  We are in Idaho!  That means potatoes!”

The drive today was uneventful, and we made it in before dark (not hard since it is still dark here at 10pm!)  Getting the kids to bed at a reasonable hour in broad daylight sure was a treat!  Looking forward to the week ahead!
